Have you ever watched the introduction to Nikita? I can totally imagine someone thinking SUPER IMPRESSIVE people with UP HIGH or TALK TO ANYONE by altering voices technology guides people around as ULTRA government badasses and she's sent on a mission by this "government" technology to assassinate people. I alter audio ALL the time with my mind. Any voice I can alter into ANY words. Now imagine someone getting a job to be an assassin by a mind span effect when you read this intro to Nikita:
"My name is Nikita. 6 years ago I was taken out of prison and forced by a covert unit of the government to be an assassin. 3 Years ago I escaped. I have been hunted ever since. I was the first recruit to get out. I'm going to make certain I'm not the last." [source]
When I run expect perfect music I often get vibration slowing down to complete stop. Friction is COMPLETE hell, so this makes sense.
