I was reading Carl Marx, trying to figure out what kind of society he wanted and found this. Formulating an ideal society is a wonderful excersie. If you were in a position to create a new society, what kind of society would you create? 5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

My interpretation of Carl Marx's Ideal Society would be written the same except for line one, which I would alter:
1. All private property is transferred to the state, which we manage.
A simple summary of Marx's ideal society: our democratic state owns and operates everything. And of course when create a state like this the wealthy the wealthy don't like it.
I LOVE communists, but my ideal state is different. Rather than our democracy managing all businesses and land, everyone's land becomes their country.
